APHP is a non-profit organization that dedicates its services to pre-health professionals and countless non-profit organizations around the Las Vegas Valley. This may include pre-med, pre-nursing, pre-pharmacy, pre-vet, and more. Our goal is to help members build a strong application and provide opportunities they need such as volunteering, provided by our Humanitarian and Fundraising committees and insightful speaker events from various doctors, graduate schools, and programs. We've also established a new leadership committee to help answer any questions concerning the application process to graduate school, and we've even taken the "health" in "pre-health professionals" to another level with our Personal Fun & Fitness committee! This committee was created to educate members about their own physical and mental health; we spend most of our time studying feverishly and working hard to help others that sometimes we forget help ourselves. Speaking of helping ourselves, our Hosting committee holds social events to encourage members to go out there, meet new people, and make important, long-lasting connections. Not only will it help everyone in the long run (personally and academically), but it is a great way to meet others who share the same interests as you! It is our duty, and our hope, to make this pre-health journey a little easier for you while guiding you in the right direction, and making sure you have fun in the process.
